Article One exists to create heirloom eyewear that becomes part of your story.

Article One is a family-owned company out of Flint, Michigan with a focus on serving family-owned independent optical shops (like us!) around the country. Each pair of eyeglasses is handmade in a small village in Northern Italy at the base of the Dolomites. The experts they work with to craft their glasses results in quality you can really feel. The team at Article One have a mindset in line with exactly what A Proper View believes, and they said it best with the following manifesto:

What We Love: Article One’s passion for heirloom-quality eyewear shines through with the superb craftsmanship of their glasses and sunglasses. Their optical collection skews more toward classic shapes and muted colors, making it the perfect fit for someone after a timeless look.
